After a three year run as downtown Rockford's premier wine and cheese shop, CRU has closed its doors to allow its operators to pursue new opportunities. CRU enjoyed a dedicated following from wine and gourmet food fans alike, and it truly will be missed. While CRU will no longer be open, the location at 509 E. State will not be empty for long. Exciting plans are already underway for a new restaurant to occupy the space, focusing on dinner service and a full bar. Check back here for more updates as development progresses.
